"Dr. Lawrence Brockman specializes in saving teeth!"
Endodontic therapy commonly referred to as root canal therapy is a dental treatment that removes the infection from inside the tooth. This treatment is done in the “pulp” of the tooth, which is the actual “root canal”.
Sometimes it is possible that a traditional root canal won’t be enough to save your tooth. When this happens, we will most likely recommend surgery. With this type of surgery, we can locate hidden canals or small fractures that cannot be detected with x-rays.
Cracks in teeth can be caused by an injury, grinding your teeth, or just from every-day wear and tear. Symptoms from cracked teeth include erratic pain when eating, to sudden pain when the tooth is exposed to hot or cold temperatures. And, sometimes, the pain will come and go making it difficult for us to locate the tooth that is causing the problem. If this happens, you should contact us right away.
