Don’t procrastinate any longer, make your appointment today!

Don’t worry, we’ll be gentle, and your pain will be gone in no time so you can get back to your busy lifestyle, pain-free.

Why us instead of your regular dentist?

So you might be asking yourself, what is the difference between my regular dentist and an endodontist? Well, the short answer is that although endodontists are dentists, they are actually specialists because they have completed an additional two or more years of specialty training beyond traditional dental school. This additional training focuses on diagnosing tooth pain and performing root canal therapy.

Our goal is to save your teeth whenever possible, and root canal therapy is the best way to save them. For this reason, we like to think of ourselves as Teeth Saving Specialists.

So what are you waiting for?

Patients from all over Southern California trust Dr. Brockman to make the pain go away and you should too. Call (310) 393-0743 now to make an appointment, you’ll be glad you did!

WHAT ARE ENDODONTICS
& ENDODONTISTS?

The name “Endodontics” comes from Greek roots where endo means “inside” and odont means “tooth”. Nothing is as good as a natural tooth, but sometimes your natural tooth may need root canal treatment for it to remain a healthy part of your mouth. Today, most patients report that having a root canal is as unremarkable as having a cavity filled.

MYTHS ABOUT ROOT CANALS

There are many misconceptions about root canals and whether patients experience pain afterward, and that’s why The American Association of Endodontists wants you to have accurate information. As always, when considering any medical procedure, you should get as much information as you can about all of your options. Your dentist or endodontist can answer many of your questions, and if you still have concerns, it is often wise to seek a second opinion.

YOUR OFFICE VISIT

A typical visit to our office begins with completing paperwork, which includes your medical history and consent forms. We recommend that you bring a list of all the medications (over-the-counter and prescription) that you regularly/have taken within the past month. Once all forms are complete, an assistant will review and chart your chief complaint, referring dentist’s information and history of the tooth pain before taking x-rays of your teeth.
